The use of internet cookies

A cookie is a short text that is sent to the browser by the website. This way the website remembers the settings (e.g. language) you chose, which makes your further visits to the webpage significantly easier. Therefore, cookies simplify internet browsing and enable an experience that is easy and faster. They are used by the majority of websites. Type of cookies

Let’s say cookies are a type of a file that is created by the website during your visit and used for saving information. This can provide much faster and easier browsing on webpage during next visits. There are two types of cookies:
  • Session cookies that are created only temporary and save the information during your browsing. When closing the browser window, temporary cookies are deleted.
  • Persistent cookies stay on your computer or other devices and are activated each time you visit the website.
